Question: Unprotected sex a week ago and going on the pill as from Monday, what If I had conceived?
Ok so I stupidly had unprotected sex with my boyfriend last week as we didn't have any condoms.. please don't criticise me for this, I know it was silly. We have now been together a while and I am starting the pill on Monday. If I had conceived when we had sex last week.. would going on the pill terminate the pregnancy or do nothing at all? If I were to get pregnant I would go through with it so I really need to know the details.

The pill will not affect you being pregnant. I got pregnant on my birth control and didnt know for awhile. I was still taking my pill because I didnt know. When i found out I was pregnant I was really concerned that my baby would be harmed. I talked to my doctor about this. She assured me that it does not hurt the baby. It will not make me miscarriage.

Pill will remove hormones which causes to cease any pregnancy to occur. The pill will have to be taken daily and is not a one time thing. It also doesnt treat any HIV or STDs in this process. Side effects to the pill is to stop periods from happening from like every 3 months to like 2 months of every year.

dont go on the pill untill you have had a missed period and taken a preg test as you could well be pregnant . if you concieved and your taking the pill it could cause problems in the pregnancy
