Question: Is this breakthrough bleeding or my period?

okay so, I'm taking junel fe 28 days birth control. about 4 days ago I skipped a pill and then continued taking them normally after that. this morning when I woke up I had my period but it looked a lot less red than usual. did skipping a pill cause me to get my period or is this breakthrough bleeding?

If it's not time for your period~ then it is breakthrough bleeding. Not taking your pill at the exact same time everyday can even cause breakthrough bleeding. ~~I recently had to alter the time I was taking my pill because of the nausea and I had breakthrough bleeding for 2 days.

Skipping a pill, has the same effect.

Nothing to worry about~ completely normal if you aren't responsible with your pills.

you're bleeding from rough sex, cause skipping a pill won't make you have your period.

could this not just be the first day of your period, and it will get heavier in the next few days? i normally just have pinky stuff on the first day... hope this helps
