Is it true that drawing/writing on yourself with pens and markers can cause skin!

Question: Is it true that drawing/writing on yourself with pens and markers can cause skin cancer?
Like sharpies and stuff.

Answers:

No, that's not possible because skin cancer usually comes from UV rays or radiation from the sun, not ink. But you can get ink poisoning from the ink if you're not careful. I don't recommend writing on skin, but if you must, make sure that you clean it off before your skin absorbs the ink.

No it doesn't. I am bald and have been drawing things on my head for years. I'm currently sporting a mural of Rotterdam harbour at sunset from my eye brows to my neck. Not a trace of cancer!

no but i would use the non toxic kind so there is less a chance of ink poisoning i draw on my self all the time lol

ME lol
