Is it possible that i will get my period in the water?!

Question: Is it possible that i will get my period in the water?
So i am on camp in 2 weeks and for the last two days (camp is from Monday-Fridati am meant to get my period. And either on the Tuesday, Wednesday or Thurdsay we are going snorkling, we will be on groups and each group will do it on a different day. Is it possible if i haven't already got my period that i could get it in the water?? We will be wearing bathers (school ones, with a bikini under nearth as well) an then they give us a wet suit to borrow as well, so it could end bad??
I am very shy but should i ask if me and my partner can go on the Tuesday? (its a female teacher)

Thanks :)

Answers:

Well Becky you ask your question extremely well for someone who is shy. Is it possible? Yes. However you also pose the question of asking your teacher who is female if you can go on Tuesday. I think that is a very good idea. I also think that if she's considerate, especially with you being shy, she will know of products that you can use for this situation. Not being female, I cannot help you much there because it is too far outside if my training and experience.
Good luck and enjoy camp. I hope I have helped you.

When I was in school, girls sat out of gym all the time because they had their period. If you can't or don't want to use a tampon and are too shy/embarrassed to talk to the teacher about it, maybe your mom can write a note explaining the situation and asking her to move your day.

Once you are in the water and you have your period, it will stop. And you will not get your period while on the water.. As long as you have water contact your menses will be suppress.

you can get ur period in water. you could try wearing a tampon if you get ur period when you swimming.

Yes, it is absolutely possible. You should ask to go on the Tuesday.

ur period temperairly stops in the water.

yes - its sounds very likely. Wear a tampon and you should have nothing to worry about.
