Period questions................?!

Question: Period questions................?
Hi! Im 12, and this is going to be my third period.I have a pretty heavy flow. I have to visit my grandparents this weekend, and they dont have any trashbins in their bathroom. What do I do with my dirty pad? Also, tampon questions.Im a virgin (of course, Im 12) and I've tried a tampon once. I didnt put it in right, and had to remove it when it was dry. It was hell! It really hurt...I like the brand U by Kotex, how are the Click tampons? (If you dont use them, no need to answer the opinion) Does the removal hurt? Please help...thanks!

Answers:

Wrap the pad in toilet paper so nobody sees it and put it in another trash bin(:
U by Kotex, I LOVE THEM! (:
They're 'click tampons' because they come in half the size so it's easier to carry around. You open the package, pull on the bottom of the tampon, (you should here a click) and you will see a clear cylinder appear. I love these tampons, they're so cute(:

Now that i've been using them regularly for a while, they do not hurt me anymore (except on rare occasions). The more you use them, the less it'll hurt putting them in and removing them! Trust me. Just choose the right absorbency, and U by Kotex rarely leaks as well.

The U by Kotex DOES have an applicator ! (plastic)

I love U by Kotex ! They're colourful as well :)

I'm a woman , (:

Im13- when i was 12 my mom bought me this book by american girl called -- The Care and Keeping of you-- it shows you how to apply a tampon, its a bit visual but its a cartoon walk-through, other than that i dont know what to tell you. With your dirty pad just wrap it in toilet paper and take it to the garbage- if they ask just say u had a bloody nose. I havent had my period yet so i cant answer the rest. Hope I helped!

Uhm. Maybe roll them in toliet paper and throw them in the zipper of your purse? I really don't know what else. Haha, I wouldn't recomend the U ones, because I'm pretty sure they don't have an applicator, you have to use your finger to push it in. I use Tampax Pearls. I highly suggest them! And as long as you put them in right, and wait until its not dry to pull it out, it shouldn't hurt at all. It takes a little bit of practice

Life (:

i would say that you should bring a king soopers bag or whatever and put them in there and when you go home empty the bag in the garbage.srry i dont use a tampone it just too complicted and hard so i just used pads.. hope this helped

Just roll em in toilet paper and throw them away in the normal trash can. I started out using playtex gentle glide tampons and never had any problems with them.

hey hunni x well i think maybe for a while you should stick to using pads, try and get ones specifically for heavy flow and change as regularly as you feel you need to x. sometimes i use the night time ones as i also have heavy periods x as for the bathroom trash bin, you could wrap it in toilet roll and put it in an outside bin? flushing them isnt a good idea as they can block the loo x

as for tampons, using them while you are a virgin is fine although not really recommended as you are only 12. just because of the risk of toxic shock syndrome and they can be really uncomfortable if inserted incorrectly which is why you felt pain removing it x normally removing or inserting a tampon shouldn't hurt maybe try to lie down or stand in the bathroom with one foot on the side of the bath before you insert.. but for now i would try to stick to pads xxx hope this helps hun xx
