Question: Really really bad period cramps(girls only)?
Last month i had bad cramps, nothing worked meds/heat pad etc. i cried for 2 hours begging my mom to bring me to a hospital but she said they wouldnt do anything for it.
So my mom called my Gyno and she said to wait till my next period(i have it now) and i have to visit her.
I just got my period yesterday and im freaking out because if i get them again i will lose it. that means i will be in pain for 6 DAYS. it sucks!
Should i ask my doctor if i can take birthcontrol?(i think it helps cramps and heavy bleeding.)
Also im thinking about using tampons. are they good? i hate the feeling of pads so yeah haha.

I've been there. My cramps were so bad that, and this is not a joke, I would get a fever, throw up, and feel like fainting. It was awful! I think the pain was equivalent to being in labor. Every month I seriously thought I was going to die. Also, NO medicine made any difference...the pain was so bad that medicine didn't even make a dent in the pain.

The solution? I got on birth control. I'm on the extended one where I only have a period once every 3 months :) IT'S A MIRACLE haha. and now when I do have a period it's a billion times better. It still hurts but before I felt like I was going to DIE. Trust me, go to your dr. and ask to be put on birth control. Make the apt. asap so you don't have to look forward to another month of pain.

Looking back I wish I got on birth control sooner. It was so painful that I was literally scared each month I started my period. No, I was scared to DEATH...knowing how i would feel. :(



While birth control pills will definitely help in solving your cramps and heavy bleeding problem, imagine
the chemical that you have to take regularly for this. Try this simple yoga remedy. Do Ashwini mudra
which is simply done by contracting your anal hole as high as you can and then gently release it. This is
one count. Do ten counts in the morning and ten counts in the evening. Keeping on increasing daily by
adding 10 counts till you reach a count of 60 in the morning and 60 in the evening. Then stop and continue
doing 60 of it for life. It is also possible in some cases the periods might stop and if you want to beget a
child in the future simply stop doing Ashwini mudra. This is easier then doing Kegel exercise where you
have to learn to isolate ejaculatory muscles. Further consume daily in the morning sesame seeds which
have been soaked the previous evening in a glass of little water. The quantity is one teaspoonful of
preferably black seasame(gingelly) seeds. If they are not available white ones will do. Seasame is the
