Question about girls periods?!

Question: Question about girls periods?
i'm a guy and i'm just wondering.. do you know when it's gonna happen? do you have to keep tampons in all the time?? do they just randomly happen in class and they just sit there with a soaked piece of cotton in there vagina's?

Answers:

You know that is going to come but you can't know the exact day or time...few days before you start feeling a bit more grumpy, breast tenderness and some cramping. Do you mean do we keep tampons in all the time or just during periods?? well it is just during our periods and we change them often, You don't feel them inside you or the wetness but they can leak depending on how heavy the flow is. And yes they just randomly happen in class or other bad times...you can never know for sure when it is going to start. We just stay prepared by keeping needed supplies with us, in purse, backpacks, lockers whatever...
any other questions just ask..

Ok this question made me laugh rather a lot!
Yes we know when it's coming each month because of the cycle. The hormones in our bodies controls when the egg is releases and the 28 day cycle pretty much happens the same time each month.
When you start your period, you can't always tell when you're going to get it, but it settles down soon enough.
And a period doesn't start really heavily. Usually you get the pains (dull aching in your lower abdomen and lower back) then that day or the next few days it will start, and build up to heavier flow, i.e using a tampon.
It is dangerous to use tampons when you are not on your period, so we do not 'just sit there with a soaked piece of cotton in our vagina'!! LOL!!
Hope that helped :)

Usually every 28 days but girls are different
yes they can start just randomly in the middle of class, but you cant wear a tampon with out your period so thats why girls get stains on their undies or if they are unluckly their pants.
Wow you didn't go to heath class did you?

You don't know exactly when but you know the date it is expected. You don't have to wear tampons at all. I always wear a pad.
