Does iron deficiency cause light periods?!

Question: Does iron deficiency cause light periods?
Answers:

No. It just means you're anemic, which is low iron. I am mildly anemic because of heavy periods. :)

No, in fact anaemia can cause heavier bleeding. If you have iron deficiency take some iron such as Spatone, Floradix or chelated iron to bring your iron levels back up to normal to stop the tired feelings you may have.

It's different for everyone. But normally periods are still pretty regular timewise & how heavy the flow usually is for you even with an iron deficiency.

Well blood has iron in it and less iron means that less blood cells can be made so I'm assuming that an iron deficiany can cause light periods
