You may have a yeast infection. Yeast infections occur when a certain fungus, known as Candida albicans, grows out of control in your body. Women are often very familiar with vaginal yeast infections, but that is not the only place you can get it. When you have a yeast infection in your throat, it's called thrush. It can cause a bad taste in your mouth.
C. albicans is usually kept in check in your intestines by the flora, or good bacteria. When your good bacteria die off (perhaps you were on antibiotics recently) C. albicans can cause pretty much anything from toenail fungus to headaches to yeast infections and beyond. It is easily treated, however, with a yeast cleanse and a temporary diet change, along with whatever medicine your doctor may prescribe.
C. albicans feeds on refined sugar, red meat, alcohol, and grains. People with Candida overgrowths often find themselves craving sweets, or bread or pasta. Cutting these things out of your diet will help to get rid of it. Some foods that you WANT to eat are fruits, raw vegetables, or any kind of fermented food (such as kimchi).
You can find a very effective Candida cleanse here: http://www.renewlife.com/herbal-cleansing.html I recommend the Candi-Gone or the Rapid Yeast Relief.
Probiotics are also very effective in combating C. albicans, as they restock the flora in your intestine.

mmm, have you been to the cinema lately?
infection in the vaginal area are common. Some are serious, some not so bad. Itchiness can turn into rashes, witch turn into fungal infections then bacteria start to develop more than they should.
You should get it checked out with you GP. It's probably not serious but just in case you have aids or something.

go a store like walgreens and ask for a yeast infection kit and see if you have it.
