Question: How was your period after givingg birth?

When did it start? Was it very heavy? Did u have sex befor sex weeks? I had a baby feb 17 and i started my period 2 days ago and it is the worrst it has ever been its very heavy and im in pain.. Is this normal? I had sex before my 6 weeks

If you had sex, let's hope you didn't get pregnant again. After I had my son it was about 3 months before I started again, and it was the worst period of my life. I was scared to death because the flow was heavier than I have ever had. But after several days (I did call the doctor) it started to let up, and then my period went back to normal. But go by your gut...call the doctor just in case, because you just never know. TC

Every woman is different but you didn't say what the pains were like. Are they cramps or more intense shooting pains? Did this start after having sex? Not really enough information to say, but if it is intense pain and began after sex, then your body probably wasn't healed enough to have sex safely, and if it was me I'd call the dr and get checked out to be on the safe side. everyone is different. I have a friend that hers come super heavy and painful now... me after my daughter only had heavy periods when I had IUD in... as soon i took it out i had super light periods.
