how can I get over my fear of rapid heartbeat?!


Question: How can I get over my fear of rapid heartbeat?
I suffer from panic attacks, and it's to the point where I can't do ANYTHING that causes my heart rate to go up. If it does, I will end up having a full blown panic attack because the symptoms feel similar to when I'm having an attack. I'm also afraid to eat or drink anything with sugar cause that can cause you heart rate to go up also. My main concern is how I'm afraid of rapid heartbeat. The reason I panic when my heart rate goes up due to running, lifting heavy things, or simply doing strenuous activities, is because I'm afraid of my already accelerated heart rate and the panic attack ontop of that to cause me to go into cardiac arrest or have a heart attack. I literally live my life trying not to do anything that will cause my heart rate to go up, and it's ruining me. Please help. And I don't want to take meds so there's no use in telling me to take some. And no use in telling me to work out either, cause that's the problem....

My dear, here u first need to know what is panic? what is its nature? who suffers with this problem? How it can be reduced?

Believe me, panic attacks r common to each and every people. every people have some anxiety along with other characteristics, it is human nature. some people suffer less while some other have it more. People get panic when some adverse situation comes and they feel they can't face it.

i hope u already know how u feel when u get panic attack. So dont worry about this. Feel that u experienced panic and wow!! feel its wonderful. U can deal with it.
I dont know ur physic.. but i guess people with low energy get more prone to it. Also people with unstable mind get this kind attack.

So here what u need to do is get healthy food, get energy, get proper sleep. This will reduce ur panic attack.these r basic.

After u do this thing regularly, then think which r the factors that cause u being panic (like lifting more weight). then take it as a game.. slowly do things which u fear. if u still panic, then do little.

According to u, it is strenuous activity. So do strenuous activity till u feel comfortable. then raise ur level day by day. It will build ur stamina. but get proper diet. (i prefer milk)

note: i dont know ur age, so if u r above 30 then consult a doctor.

Most important is (this is my policy): go to the open ground, feel u r the king of the world, sorry queen of the world and stay happy.. be happy as much as u can. this will help.

yes, sex is important but not necessary. i m too 25 but i ve not done sex.

well worrying about having a panic attack will make you have a panic attack (trust me i used to have alot of panic attacks)

when it comes down to it i think its all about breathing when you panic you feel like you lost all control of breathing right? if you learn how to control your breathing that can really help

i heard panic attacks were from represed sexual feelings or something like that dont know if its true though...not saying you should go out and have sex just giving you some info
