Do you agree that male gynecologists are wrong?!

Question: Do you agree that male gynecologists are wrong?
It's nice to hear that there are women that agree with me, but I really want to be able to understand the women who think that going to a male gynecologist is not degrading. You do realise that male doctors are still men, right? I'm not talking about all the nasty stuff they see, I'm talking about the young, attractive, healthy women that they see. I find it disgusting and disturbing how many women tell me that they don't care if their male doctor has pervy thoughts. Any woman with morals and self respect WOULD care!

I could look at naked women all day long and I can assure you I would never get bored. I'm not talking about the nasty stuff that doctors see, I'm talking about the attractive, healthy women that they see. You cannot train a man to not notice attractive women, especially their genitals. By the way, for anyone who brings up the weak argument of lesbian doctors let me say this: Lesbian doctors are rare. Compared to how many straight male doctors there are, there are few lesbian doctors. And let me add that lesbians don't have the same testosterone as men, therefore straight men are more likely to be turned on that women.

Answers:

I personally think you are over reacting. They are trained professionals who actually have a life. They are just body parts to them not anything sexual.

You are really on a crusade here, aren't you? What happened to you, a girlfriend dump you for a gynecologist or something?

Please, give this topic a rest. You repeat this ad nauseum. There are some who will agree with you and others who won't. I doubt seriously you will find many converts with the arguments you use.

What difference does it make whether the doctor is male or female. They all have thoughts when they're looking at body parts, whether they're sexual or non-sexual, as long as they don't say or do anything in appropriate.

I'm not seeing the difference. So s guy thinks your attractive, they'll think you are with clothes on too. They're trained to be professional so, it's only a big deal If you make it one.

WTF I don't think its wrong their still a Dr. and it shouldn't make a difference.

i don't think they are wrong at all - as a health student work is work and its separate from your personal life. These are qualified health professionals trained in Gynocology and yes granted it is a bit daunting for women to see a male gynocologist but to come out right and say "well thats wrong" is a bit sexist in my opinion. I do see your point though fortunately if you don't like having a male gyno we live in a world where you can switch if you want to.
