Answers:

Your period doesn't come on the same day every month - your uterus doesn't have a little calendar inside to tell it when to start shedding! :-)

When your period is due is determined by your cycles - you determine your cycle length by counting from the first day of 'true bleeding' (i.e. not pink or brown discharge) during your period, up until the first day of 'true bleeding' during your next period - that is your cycle length. There are normally a few days variation from one cycle to the next, that's normal, and sometimes your period may come late - this can be due to stress or illness.

If you're in your teens or early twenties it's normal for your cycles to be totally irregular too, it's because you're still developing physically and sexually so that's effecting your hormones and so effecting your cycles too. When you're older it should sort itself out, sometimes you will notice your cycles may change, it happens throughout your life.

t's about the whole process, not just the bleeding - try to learn how to recognise signs not just of your periods, such as cramping, mood changes, increase arousal, etc. but also signs of ovulation such as fertile cervical mucus, cervix changes, ovulation pains, as ovulation occurs two weeks before menstruation it can give you an idea of when your period is due even if it doesn't show up on time according to your normal cycles.

Edit: Birth control doesn't regulate periods, it works by suppressing cycles, the bleeding women get on birth control isn't menstruation it's withdrawal bleeding and only comes at regular times because of how they take the birth control - it doesn't regulate your cycles, so cannot regulate menstruation.

Well, you may just need to go on birth control so you can regulate your period. Some girls may just have a different cycle. You usually get your period every twenty-seven days, so it may not always come on the same day.
Wait it out, I'm sure you'll be fine.

First of all, remember February only has 28 days and not 30/31. Plus I'm sure you're stressing about why you haven't gotten it yet, but that only delays it further! Just calm down, stop thinking about it, and you'll be fine. :)

Sometimes you're just irregular. Nothing to worry about if you know you can't be pregnant.

It's probably just late this month. It's pretty normal for that to happen. It's also pretty common to skip a period every now and then.
