What dose it really mean to become a woman. At what point in your life are you no longer considered a girl but a true woman?

I'm pretty much going to say what MsJamers said because that's what I had in mind! ;)

WELL a lot of people say when you first get your period. But I don't think so since some girls are 9, 10, 11, and 12. That's not exactly a woman age. I'd say probably 18. That's considered being an adult.

A lot of people say once a woman menstruates for the first time she's then considered a woman.

I would argue that once you're 18, you've reached adulthood.

since i had my first period at 10 years old i assure you it is not when menstruation starts. i would say around age 21
