But i never ever will eat junk food, but once i have a little cake or a cookie i will go crazy and binge eat for the rest of the day. then i feel awful about myself, really hate myself after...im 5'2 and wiegh about 100-105 lbs. my boyfriend says i should see someone about it, but idk what do you guys think

Answers:

Extremely salty, sugary, and fatty foods are highly addictive, eating them makes you want to eat more- that's the nature of American-style snack foods. Perhaps you're just a little more sensitive to them than most? But since you seem to be able to resist eating crappy foods most of the time and you eat a generally healthy diet otherwise, I wouldn't worry about your sensitivity to it. Especially since you're in the healthy weight range for your height according to the CDC's BMI chart.

CDC's BMI Calculator for your height and weight:

I'm not a Professional, but what you describe seems to be something that is on it's way to turning into what could be a very dangerous eating disorder.. Consult a Nutritionist/Doctor for the medical part, but also I suggest seeking a Counselor for possible self-esteem issues that may be the cause of your type of dieting?

That's not an eating disorder from what you've described. It's the set-up for a life long yo-yo dieter...."joy oh joy"

You restrict by eating so little and then become so hungry that you pig out. What you see as "binges" is your body's natural response & urge to refuel.

Yes, you do seem to have an eating disorder, but as I am not a clinical psychologist, it is best for you to talk to your doctor or school counselor.

Sounds to me like a slight one. You should probably talk to your doctor before it gets worse. There's ways to be healthy and be skinny. Good luck!
