Do you have to have been pregnant to get an IUD?!
Question: Do you have to have been pregnant to get an IUD?
I would want to use that as birth control. Any information?
Answers:
you can have an IUD placed regardless of whether or not you have been pregnant. the procedure can be expensive up front, but it is less expensive than the pill or other methods overall because you only have to pay once every five years. it is the most effective form of birth control available (other than abstinence and sterilization of course), and it will not affect your ability to be able to conceive a child after it has been removed. most women like it because they never really have to think about it.
