Question: Im a teen girl, and I want to start bodybuilding.?
Is this safe, im 15? What will my family and friends think if they say no? Where should I start training? No haters please. Many thanks.

You should wait until you are 16 because most gyms do not allow you to train until you are 16. When you turn 16, start by joining a gym and getting a few lessons from a personal trainer. You don't need to necessarily tell your friends and family yet, simply say you want to get in shape. Besides, body building isn't so much of a taboo thing for women to do anymore, so most people won't care.

Toning your muscles is VERY healthy and I advise it, because it increases your metabolism as well. by body building I assume you mean really muscled, but women can only get so refined. ANY women you see that are super body built are or have taken steroids or pills. like the lady from my strange addictions on TLC. just NEVER get to the extreme end of bodybuilding. at 15, you don't have much to worry about body-injury-wise IF you have a good diet. avoid strength training machines that put stress on tendons and ligaments, like leg curling machines. these types of machines are responsible for several short and long term injuries every year.

I think its a great idea. Just don't over due it or you could hurt your body.
