Were did u get your first per iod? that includes were as in what plac home, store, school????

Were you expecting it? did u need to see the school nurse?? what did you do????

I was 14 when I got mine. I had actually been out of school with a horrible stomach bug all week and I was staying at my grandmother's during the day while my parents were at work. I went to the bathroom and since I had had diarrhea all week, I was horrified when I saw brown spots in my underwear. I didn't know at the time that blood turns brown when it gets old, so I thought maybe I hadn't wiped enough last time I used the bathroom. Well, this continued for a day, more and more brown spots. I am not sure what made me think it was my first period, but I decided to tell my mom. I definitely wasn't expecting it because there were no PMS symptoms. My only cramps were from my stomach bug I had. I didn't even have the vaginal discharge many people get up to a year before their period. Nothing. Well, my mom got me some pantyliners and gave me the whole "Do you know how important this is and you're a woman now" speech. It's really not all that important (simply means you can have kids) and it didn't make me feel more womanly or special. It simply made me itchy having to wear a pad (you get used to it though).
6th grade December 19th. I was at school in science class first period and I just knew and I asked my awkward science teacher who was male if I could please go to the nurse right now and he took forever writing the stupid pass to go. Then when I went to the nurse it was insanely awkward telling her I had my period, and to top it off the girl I absolutely hate was in the nurse's office too.
It was May 2009..i'm pretty sure. I was 12 and I woke up and went to the bathroom before I started getting ready for school like I usually did. My whole underwear and shorts were covered in bright red, dry blood, so i got it when i was sleeping. I just told my mom right away and went to school like a normal day. (':
I was not expecting it at all! Barely anyone in my class had it and I was one of the smallest ones so I really wasn't expecting it because I wasn't really "developed" at the time..
I have no idea what date it was, but i know it was in 6th grade. School had finished and i had a odd stomach pain, so i go home and i used the bathroom. the paper had pink spots on it so im like um okay? i called out to my grandma and told her what happens, and she laughed and told me there were pads in the closet. it was funny though because i wasnt expecting it. i mean i learned about it and my friends had it but still (:
I was 9, (I'm 18 now) and got it during the day. I had been riding my bike and playing outside all day long, and hadn't really noticed I got my period until I went into the bathroom. I was getting ready for bed when I saw the blood and freaked out. My mom ran in to the bathroom when she heard me scream, looked down and was shocked lol. It was an interesting day to say the least.
When: I was thirteen, probably 7-8 years ago.
Where: At my house. I went to the bathroom and when I wiped, it was a light pink.
Who: I was home with my sister and my mom. I told my sister first since she was on the same floor as me, then went up and told my mom a little while later.
Expecting: No, I wasn't expecting it at all. I had no cramps or anything.. but I knew it was coming within a year because I had the typical body development during that time.
