Why would you smell it? Trust me honey, that's a no go, menstrual blood doesn't smell nice - AT ALL.
It's normal for it to smell horrid, it doesn't smell good. It's fine for it to be brown, the chances are, that's dry blood. But period blood can be bright red, brown, dark red, dark brown, be a little pinky - all's normal. It probably smells "like poo" because it is quite near your bum. Just change your pad every 3-4 hours, and you're fine x

my period was also like that....
actually, i was panic when my period was like that. i thought that i was having a disease..... then, i told my mama 'bout that. she said it was normal for teenage girls. i was relieved to know that....
after a few months, my period was normal again

This is normal and it is nothing to worry about! my first period was basically all brownish. This is because it is your first one. After you have a few more periods, they will become heavier and reddish! Hope i helped :)

its normal brown blood is just dried up old blood, you'll get a little brown blood every month.
