How should i ask my mom if i can try tampons?!

youre age should have nothing to do with it. if she thinks it does, ask her why. tell you dont like big bulky pads and that you would like to try tampons. if she says no, then explain that you cannot possibly swim with a pad and running with one is uncomfortable and can give you chaffing. im sure she'll understand, shes a girl too and i know it might be awkward, but your mom probably has nothing against tampons, maybe she just prefers pads... hope i helped

just explain that pads are uncomfortAble and its hard to do all your sports in them.
tell her you want to use something easier and more sanitary that lasts a bit longer.
explain that your mature enough to make sure you change them in time and all of that.

i am a cheerleader and when i told my mom i wanted to try them she was honestly pissed but a few days later i told her i hated sitting in blood and that it feels like im wearing a diaper. she let me try them and i have been wearing them for over a year now.
