Why don't women have blood lose effects from their periods?!

Question: Why don't women have blood lose effects from their periods?
This is a serious question. If a girl bleeds, what, a quart? of blood out of her vagina monthly, for half of their lives, how do they maintain enough blood to live?

Answers:

Simply put, it's not all blood. It's a mix of quite a few things. So it's not like you're just bleeding out. You're just shedding the uterine lining, which builds up over the month. It's a combination of blood that was meant to support the growth of a fetus, and mucus. When a girl bleeds during her period, that's all it is.

Health class.

It's not part of the normal circulation of blood normally. It's just the lining. Some girls can feel the effects or need supplements if they have Hypermenorrhea or Menorrhagia though.

"A quart"? No. More like 2 oz the entire time. You lose a lot of iron during it and can get weak or light headed if you don't eat right.

it's not "blood" specifically its the lining of the uterus

its not bloood
