i am having very bad neck pains head pains and back pains?!

Question: I am having very bad neck pains head pains and back pains?
ok so over the last 2 weeks ive been having really painfull neck and back aches, i dont know if its over the type of pillows i sleep with because they are memory foam and kinda hard, not soft though..

is there anything i can do or take to get rid of it, because i keep waking up over it and cant get enuf sleep:/

Answers:

It could be a number of things... Maybe your pillows, maybe your bed, maybe your posture, the way you're sleeping, or physical activities (such as sports). I would recommend starting by using some different pillows, and (if you can) sleep in a different place... If the pain goes away it's probably related to what you are sleeping on/what pillows you are sleeping with. If it doesn't, it may still be the problem. You kinda just have to use powers of deduction to figure this one out. Good luck and best wishes.

You could change the pillow for few days and see any improvement.

When you say back, is it near to the neck, or whole back? or lower back, mid back?

If more history was availble it would have been easier to arrive at a more definitive diagnosis; with the available history the possibilitis include;

Musculoskeletal (just some muscle sprain, pressure effect on the neck muscles and/or spinal bones from hard pillow )
Disc bulge
Disc herniation (probably without pinching of spinal nerve roots as you have not mentioned shooting pain down the arms or legs, numbness, tingling sensation, muscle weakness etc)
Annular tear (annulus fibrosus is a sheath that covers the disc material) etc.

Rare possibilites include osteomyelitis (infection of the bone), slipped verteba, tumors, rheumatoid arthritis etc, but no reason to suspect in you (at least from the available history)

Head pain not uncommon if neck hurts especially back of the head.

If pillow change no help then you could try some;

heat or cold to the painful areas (depending upon which one helps you)
Analgesics lke Naprosyn or Ibuprofen
If not better then muscle relaxants like Flexeril or Baclofen
Very light stretching excercices (not intense excercise)

If pain worsens then talk to your family Dr or neurologist; you need MRI of cervical spine (MRI of back if pain is severe in the back as well) OR just xray depending upon what the clinical examination shows. Certain pain medications like muscle relaxants require your Dr's prescription.

All the best!

Regards,

Neurologist.

Probably due to cold season being late this year. Back and neck pain is a common enough sign of it.

You should use Tramadol, it is the best about it you can get information from here http://heansmd25.notlong.com/AAP3b4O

check by changing your place of sleeping and change your pillows...

go 2 the doc
