so ive been taking my pill religiously at 5pm on the dot (i made that my pill taking time) but yesterday i forgot and took it and 6pm and today once again i forgot and took it at 6.15!

im seeing my bf on wednesday and i think we're gonna end up having sex, is my pill less effective at the moment as ive been had two days where ive taken it wrong? :( should we use a condom the next time just in case?

Answers:

Usually an hour window is ok but it depends on where you are in your cycle too.
If you want to be 100% safe, use a condom.

Read the pamplet that came with your pills!!!

On most birth control (Ortho Tricyclen, Yaz, Trinessa, etc) you can even missed a whole day and not have to use any backup.
Educate yourself about the medication that you are prescribed.

No. Taking the pill at different times won't really effect how great or less it works, but still use a condom just in case.
