Do I have to tell my boyfriend when i'm in my period?!

Question: Do I have to tell my boyfriend when i'm in my period?
I'm only 13 and I was just wanting a heads-up for the future... I DON'T have a boyfriend, but when the time comes, do I have to tell him when i'm in my period?? if so, how do I tell him? I'm most likely not getting a boyfriend until i'm 16... at least I can't start dating until then... but do I even have to tell him?

Answers:

You do what you are most comfortable with, because mostly you will get moody and he will know something is up, giving him a heads up might be a good thing.
When i was a teen, and seriously dating a guy I just told him Aunt Flow was visiting and sorry if I am cranky.
I currently live with my Bf so he knows when is it coming and it is not like I can keep it from him we live together.
Sometimes it is easier to wait until you are in a committed relationship and you know he is not going to have a big mouth about it. Just do what you are comfortable with.

Hi, hun. No, you don't have to tell him anything. Though, when (and if) you become sexually active you are going to have to mention to him that you can't have sex until you're done (or if you do want to have sex, let him know). at this age, I highly doubt you're going to have sex so the answer is o, you don't need to tell him. :)

Me ?

You don't *have* to tell him, if you don't feel comfortable. But remember, most boys had health education or something and they know that it happens. Nice boys will understand that you might get a little emotional around that time and that you are in pain, and will just want to make you feel better.

Nope, there is no reason to tell him if you don't want to! When you become sexually active, I would tell him when things start to heat up if he didn't know already.

I tell my guy when I start mine just because I like the sympathy and back rubs! :) Then again we've been together for almost three years so we're comfortable with eachother!

You don't HAVE to tell him, unless you are sexually active.
And if you are sexually active, the boy you choose to be with should be mature enough to handle the aspects of what goes on with a woman.

Any guy you choose to be with should understand.
Much luck <3

Personal Experience =]

if yal are sexually active, then it would be best to tell him. at your age now, it seems like it would be embarrassing, but it wont be. if yal are going to be sexually active then he needs to know, Just for both of yal's sake.

No. There is no law, statute or guideline stating that women must inform their significant other of all menstrual cycles.

No, you don't have too tell him.
