How do you tell if a tampon is full?!

Question: How do you tell if a tampon is full?
Like when it's inside you. Is there a way to know without pulling it out? Thanks...

Hey! I used to have trouble with this too :)
Here are some ways you can tell if your tampon is full
1.) If when you wipe, you see even the tiniest bit of blood
2.) If the string has blood on it
3.) If you leak out of your tampon (obviously lol)
4.) If you feel kind of wet down there like you would if you were having discharge
5.) If it starts slipping out (has happened to me before haha)
5.) You should always change every 4 hours no matter what. If your tampon is not ready in 4 hours, you should move down a size tampon for that flow :)
I hope this helps!

The way I always tell, is go to the bathroom. After you pee wipe with toilet paper and if you see even a drop of blood on the tissue definatly change it. If there is no blood, tug on the string just a little. If it doesn't seem to want to come out then it is dry and there is no need to change it. If it slides down easily when you lightly tug at the string go ahead and pull it out and change it.

If I feel wet, like I'm leaking, then I go to change.
Or if I go to the bathroom and see any blood on the toilet paper or my pad, then I change.
If the string is stained, then the tampon is usually full.

You can't really. But if you take it out after 4 hours and it still has white patches, go down an absorbency. If it starts to leak before 4 hours then get a higher absorbency. No effective way to tell, you just have to work out your flow. ?

You can tell by looking at the string. If it's still white, it isn't full. If there's a bit of blood on it, it needs to be replaced. Or just go by the time, you can wear them up to 8 hours.

weird question but.. not really.

sometimes it will feel heavier.

just in case use a liner and don't keep it in longer than 8 hours so you don't get toxic shock syndrome.
