What kind of Vaginal infection?!

Question: What kind of Vaginal infection?
I'm really wondering what this could be. A few weeks ago, I noticed I was dischaging a lot more than normal. The disharge is generally clear or white and odorless. The outside of my vagina was really red too and it was irritated. I thought this was a yeast infection but it went away for a while. Now it's back. What could it be? Yeast infection? I'm going to the doctor next week

Answers:

Yeast infections normally have symptoms such as an odorless vaginal discharge that resembles cottage cheese, itching, and burning of the vagina. You may very well have a yeast infection, but it may be something as harmless as a simple irritation caused by soap, tampons, pads, or even your underwear if your detergent has been changed lately. I would recommend not using anything overly scented down there until your doctor appointment for fear of further irritating. I am not a doctor but these are just suggestions based on personal experience.
