Tampon help? Lil embarrassing ?!

Question: Tampon help? Lil embarrassing ?
When exactly do u use a tampon? I know I'm going to have my period the same day that I go to a waterpark so when should I insert it? Btw I've never used one and I'm a lil scared:/

Answers:

Don't be embarrassed
I suggest bringing a couple. Put on in before you leave (while you're getting dressed) then maybe one in during the day then again when you get home. It all depends on leaking/how heavy your flow is etc.

And don't be scared. Main thing is to be relaxed.
Some girls put their one leg on the toilet and insert, i personally do a bit of a squat and insert it.
You're going to be putting it in on a slight angle, if you feel slight pain, take it out and try again. It takes a couple tries but you'll get it :)

Be determined, take some time and relax. Its going to feel weird but, you'll eventually get used to it.

Oh, this is absolutely no biggy! I used my first one at the beginning of this year. I adore them now. Much better than icky pads. You can use them when you're on your period, heavy, light, or moderate flow! I used tampax cardboard regulars for my first, but you should use one with a plastic applicator. Just insert it in the hole thats right behind where you pee. You will know when its at the right angle. Read the directions in the box, they help. You'll feel uncomfortable! Wear a pantiliner too, just incase you leak a little! When you see blood on the string of the tampon its ready to come out. Just take it out, flush it, and insert a new one! They don't hurt at all! Just relax!

You use it during your period ... Insert it in the morning and change it every 4-8 hours (depending on how heavy your flow is). Make sure to take plenty with you. Don't worry, nothing to be afraid of.

try using one earlier that day, but when you insert it take two fingers and hold your ******** open from the bottom not the side, as it will hurt less. that will make easier.

good luck!
