Question: I have a bit of a bulging belly,my mother says it isn't bad i still can't help but feel bad about myself help!?
I do 50 crunches twice a day and 50 jumping jacks twice a day, how long do you think it will take before I get rid of my ugly bulgy belly? I'm also turning thirteen next week. thanks for your help!

It could still be puppy fat ... So I'd carry on doing what you are doing and give it time. Don't worry a bit of fat is good for people there is too much emphasis on being skinny these days

I was a fat child and grew up slim ( now am fat as I'm preggo )



Calm down, dear. In time, your belly should reduce. But it's not going to happen overnight. If you're doing all of that core training and cardio every day, you should see some nice results in 2-3 weeks and even better results in 5-6 weeks.
But I'd like to point out that most people -- even "thin" people -- really don't have flat stomachs. Take, for example, Marilyn Monroe. She is easily one of the most loved women of all time. Fat by today's standards, perhaps, but I have never heard anyone call her "fat". I've only heard people describe her as beautiful. Take a look at the top center picture of her here:

There's a very definite ridge of abdominal fat, maybe even what some people might call a "bulge". But you really can't argue that she is still considered to be one of the sexiest women of all time. I just want you to consider that fact. :)



Sometimes you just need to cut down on fizzy drinks as these can make your stomach bloat. Be careful not to exercise too much as you can strain your muscles.
