Question: I have a serious concern about blood clots during my menstrual cycle!!! ?

Hi - blood clots of various sizes are normal to most menstruating women.
However, in your case, because of the pain and the long-term passing of large clots, I would consult my Doctor. You may benefit from being put on a Birth Control pill.
In the meantime, drink more fluids and take proprietory painkillers.
I suspect this can be resolved pretty simply and pretty quickly, but you are going to need to speak to your Doc.
Good luck.
Hi Tisha,
If you have had unprotected sex since your last period, and this is the only time you have seen this happen, then it is possible you were pregnant and have had a spontaneous abortion (formerly called a miscarriage). At least 80% of all women not on birth control will have at least one miscarriage during their life. In fact, most pregnancies end in the first couple weeks, and most women never realize they were pregnant at all.
The only way to tell for sure if you have had more pregnancies than births is if the ovaries are examined for a what is called Luteal scarring, usually after they have been removed.
It would be an excellent idea to call your clinic this morning and tell the ob/gyn nurse what happened... they will want to examine you and run a couple tests to make sure everything is okay...
Best wishes,

Blood clots are normal and if this happens during every period then it seems that this is just the way your body works. Going on Birth Control can help lighten periods and dull down on the cramps too, maybe you should consider talking to your doctor about this if you're interested, they will be able to tell you more.
This sounds like a miscarriage call your doctor asap
