Question: Question about my inhaler?
I went to the doctor on Sunday because I had trouble breathing (I felt like I couldn't complete a full breath) and he gave me a Ventolin inhaler and some Cephahexin.
I've used the Cephahexin and that fixed my sore throat.
But I haven't used the inhaler yet. The doctor didn't even tell me what I had?
I've been having trouble taking a deep breath today so should I take the inhaler? Will it help my lungs heal?
I started feeling like this after I was working out and it was really hot. It's the first time I had been in the heat for awhile.
Could I have allergy induced asthma?
I remember this time last year, I had non-stop coughing.
Btw, im 15.

Answers:
I have used Ventolin for years. It opens up your breathing passages and relaxes them. If you are short of breath for sure use it. Be sure to rinse your mouth after use as it can cause an infection. Also Ventolin works for coughing, trust me I know this one.
