I'm on birth control, when is it okay to not use a condom?!

Question: I'm on birth control, when is it okay to not use a condom?
I started my birth control March 13th. I'm taking Apri .15/.3mg pills. I missed the first Thursday of the first week I started taking it, but I havnt forgotten since. It was two weeks ago, is it okay to not use a condom now? I have tonight's pill and tomorrow's then I start the week of white pills( which I'm guessing is to start my period)

I know you should ALWAYS use a condom, but I've been with the same guy for two years and we're both tested, we're not worried about STDs and STIs, just pregnancy.

Is it safe to not use a condom?

Thanks in advanced

Answers:

.....my doc. Told me with pills it takes a whole month to start working. But yours may be different. Call your pharmacist or doctor

condom is essential for safe sex, and to prevent disease, you can also use an injection that prevents pregnancy for three months and its effective immediately , but you have to check with your OB-GYN before getting the shot.

It is never OK not to use a condom unless you are specifically trying to get pregnant. No form of birth control is 100% effective, have him use a condom each and every time you have sex.

It takes effect a week after you start so your good.

That said, a condom is always useful
