My 7th grade teaher was asking about my period!!?!

Question: My 7th grade teaher was asking about my period!!?
Ok so i wasnt feeling good one day because of my period... I was holding my stomach here and there because of cramps. At the end of class all the kiddos went to lunch but my teacher held me back. Heres what the conversation went like:
Her: hey whats wrong? You dont seem youself.
Me: nothing
Her:are you sure?
Me: yea. I just dont feel that good
Her: oh. Are you having your period?
Me: uhh...ummm...yeaa
Her: ok! So how bad are your cramps?
Me: ummm this is kinda weird.. May i go to lunch
Her: yes. But if you wanna talk about anything, i can talk.
Me: um..okay bye

Was this ok for her to ask me that? And how did she know i was on my period?

Answers:

well it shows that she is concerned and cares about her students which is good. i know it might have been a little awkward but at least she seemed to care. and she probably knew because thats probably how she kinda acted when she was on her period.

If it made you uncomfortable, its not alright. really.
If she does this again, and its stil awkward, tell a parent or trusted guardian about it.
Also. remember, She has this too! She has probably been in your exact situation now, and back when she was a kid.
She knows how it feels, but I can get why it might be awkward.
If it bothers you, confront her about it. Tell her to "please stop"
It'll be alright :)

She just sounded conserned about your well-being. You should be happy to have such a teacher that cares about you. Don't know why you think this is bad?? She's a woman, she probably suspected it being a period since she's probably had hers for most of your life.

Me

That isn't weird. I mean if it was a male teacher, that would be weird. But she probably only knew because you were holding your stomach. Whenever I see my friends holding their stomach i'm like cramps? And they always say yep, lol. She was just concerned about you which was nice, not odd.

No, I don't consider it weird at all. She seems to be a caring, compassionate woman that remembers what it felt like when she was your age. Don't be embarassed or offended. If only more women treated each other with such kindness in this world, it would be a much better place.

She was just concerned but she didn't have to ask and well if ire moody and ares clutching your tummy and have breads it's an easy assumption that you're on your period

Nothing wrong with your teacher having some concern for you. She was being nice and trying to be helpful.

I believe you already asked this for about 3 times already and it's normal she was worried dont take too seriously!

she could probably tell. and it was very weird. take some medicine so cramps dont hurt and she wont be nosy :)
