I am not sexually active.
It itches inside of my vagina.... REALLY BAD!
I have been taking antiboiotics since thursday night for a UTI
I do not masturbate

I keep telling my mom that it itches but she's like "oh that's normal you're probably starting your period."

Answers:

Taking antibiotics causes the good bacteria to die off and that allows the yeast to thrive. Yes, you probably have a yeast infection, and it could also be a sign of starting your period, which both could go hand in hand. If she won't treat you, get some yogurt to eat, plain is best, and I know it tastes bitter plain but if you add fruit that adds sugar and contributes to the yeast. Eat the yogurt for the next couple of days and that will help restore your intestinal bacteria and may neutralize what's going on. And for the itching, go make a warm bath, add some baking soda to the water and sit in it, keep the water warm by adding more hot as it cools off. You need about 15-20 minutes - let the water go inside you and help irrigate your vagina and soothe the itching it a bit. If the itching and irritation don't get relieved within 24 hours, ask your mom to get some over-the-counter miconazole cream and you can treat yourself for yeast. The 7-day cream is the easiest, least expensive and most gentle. But don't do that for at least 24 hours - see if the other will help first in case it isn't yeast.

The same thing with me! haha .. Dont worry! You will be fine! Eat yorgurt. Its just beacuse it hasnt been clean. Take lots of showers. TRUST ME everything will be fine go to a drug store and get something called Monistate7. Use the cream as instructed. Dont worry there is nothing wrong!!!!
