Answers:

it's common for your age to be irregular. I just NOW got regular periods and i'm 20. Sometimes, weight plays a factor. If you are too skinny or weigh too much for your height and age, it can delay your period. You could also have an unknown thyroid, be stressed, hormonal imbalance, or have a common ovarian cyst that most women have. If you changed your diet or exercise regime lately, that, too could delay your period. Also, if you are currently on any medications or have stopped taking them you're period could come late.

If it becomes something you're really worried about a doctor can give you birth control to regulate your period.

experience!

First of all, you are fine, it's normal to not have a normal cycle in the beginning, my one friend still doesn't. Second, periods don't come on the same day every month. I am 13 and I've started 3 yrs ago as of this summer. My cycle will go from 30 to 31 to 34 to 26 to 29, periods have their own minds. Keep track, it's important. If your period doesn't get normal in like 1-2 years, then maybe you should go to the doctor and find out if this is just the 'norm' for you.

Hope I helped.
