Answers:

Losing weight is really good when you are doing it with someone else, because it feels like you can't cheat on them, (because it's easy to just say, ohh well I'll just do this tomorrow, whereas, you think of how much the other person is going through and feel u need to do the same).
Things that helped me were saying to myself:
"Losing weight is more satisfying than this sugar, then whenever I saw a treat I thought I really wanted, I imagined myself not eating it and standing on a scale and being happy because I lost weight.
and
"You can lose all your progress in one day"

food wise, eat as much fruit and vegetables as you want. Eat whole wheat!! When choosing food I ask myself, "how easily is my body going to get rid of or burn this off?"
It's a struggle at first, but eating healthy makes you feel amazin! and Drink water, water only, drink juice and milk only on occasion. Like pick one and do it like in the afternoon. Eat healthy but count calories! if u are eating fresh fruit and fresh vegetables they don't count anything. 100 calorie snacks are amazin, I eat 1200 calorie diet to lose weight. Get into the routine of a good eating diet not a lose weight diet because u will gain everything u lost back. Pick out your food before, so you don't go over. I do 300 for breakfast, 100 for snack, 300 for lunch, 100 for snack, 300 for dinner. That leaves room just in case a meal goes over. Check your BMR, and see how much you lose when doing nothing, subtract 500 from that.

and that could be how many calories to consume.
doing 2 miles every other day is good stuff too, but don't reward yourself with food for doing it. Pray to god to give you the strength to keep going.

My best tip for you is to set an amount of calories to eat in a day, not cut out a bunch of unhealthy food. I eat between 1,200 and 1,400 calories a day and instead of saying I'm never going to eat ice cream, I'll eat ice cream and a small meal every now and then instead of a normal sized lunch. Healthy foods I would suggest are fruits (the best fruits are in season, or about to be in season- berries, pineapple, melons, kiwi), trail mix, almonds, nature valley granola things, fiber one bars (they really taste like candy bars!), and vegetables like carrots, celery, and broccoli.
I go to the gym too, and if your gym offers it, you should definitely take some classes, especially les mills classes if they offer them-they are great. In classes I can focus longer and you can burn a lot more calories in an hour class than you can from running on the elliptical!

Top 3 things you need to lose weight.

1. Patience. Don't expect to lose 30 pounds in a month.
2. Discipline. This is the hardest for most people.
3. Forgiveness. If you can't forgive yourself for breaking your diet and simply move on with it, well, it's not good. If you break your diet, don't go on a huge guilt trip about it, it won't do you any good, just resume your diet and remain focused.

Eat virgin coconut oil as a dietary supplement. Eat Greek unsweetened yogurt. Use the sauna after you work out! Eat a healthy filling breakfast each morning, eat a healthy lunch and then a healthy dinner. Try not to snack. Do Not Eat After 7pm. I think having a scale helps. Be healthy! GOOD LUCK! YOU GO! YOU ROCK!

use adapex!! go to your doctor and tell them you want to start a weight loss program, adapex curves your appetite and you dont wanna eat at all! it really helps. it gives you speed to

-eat more
-exercise less
-watch more TV
-increase the amount of fat and candy you consume
-fantasize about obesity
