Is this bad? Should I be scared?!

Question: Is this bad? Should I be scared?
Okay some of you know that I'm thirteen. I haven't started my period yet, but I have started vaginal discharge. But the odd thing is that it's a light shade of green. Is that bad because I've heard most people say that when they had it it's normally white. But mine is a light shade of green... It's been happening with the same shade of color for about 4-5 months. I'm not REALLY scared but I just wanna know if I need to talk to my doctor about this. Is it normal? Thanks. -Alexis

It's really rare that you'd have a vaginal infection before starting your period, but it can happen. Greenish/gray discharge is a sign of infection. Don't be scared though, if you do have one there is really no way it can hurt you...it's just annoying. Tell your mom and even though it's awkward don't put it off.

ok im not 100% sure on this but i think grey or green or yellow discharge is a sign of a vaginal infection, i think you should go to your doctor or talk to your mum about this but i know talking to your mum will be hard just incase u dont have a good relationship with her ( i dont ) is there a female relative in your family ur close to or trust? Talk to them if you do :)

It might be a sign of an infection. You should talk to your mom about it and get one of those screening tests at the supermarket but also call your gynecologist.

Try talking to your mum and see what she says I don't no weather you should be scared but I got told that its usually white.

Call the gyno!

go to the doctor wtf
