Sex shouldn't be painful at all!

Rather than concentrate on making it 'less painful' you should be considering how to stop it hurting at all, and why you are so content to suffer sex with this new partner, don't you think you deserve pain-free pleasurable sex?

If sex is hurting you then it means that there is something wrong, it doesn't matter if he is bigger or not as your vagina is made to allow a whole human being to pass through, when you're aroused your vagina naturally relaxes, lubricates, opens and increases in size to allow the penis to penetrate without causing pain. It's not just pain either, if it hurts chances are that damage is being done thus putting you at higher risk of STD's and infections.

If not aroused enough this may be one factor - ideally you should be aiming to reach climax at least once before penetration, and if need be use additional lubrication. If he is being too rough or not going slowly or gently enough that would also add to the problem. But at the end of the day if it is causing pain you should consider seeing your doctor to find out the cause and deal with it.

Just get some special gel to make penetration easier. Check with your pharmacist, there are plenty on the market (KY jelly is the most well known).
