Question about the effectiveness of BC pills after the week of your period?!

Question: Question about the effectiveness of BC pills after the week of your period?
When you are taking the birth control pill, it says if you miss a day or two your risk of getting pregnant increases and to double the dose for a few days. But, when you take the week of inactive pills the week you get your 'period', you are missing a whole week! When you restart the hormone the next week, how are you still protected after 7 days of missing it?

Answers:

If you miss a pill or two during the active pills, you may ovulate. So there is a chance of pregnancy.

But if you have been talking all 21 active pills, it's too late in your cycle to ovulate. So you'll get your withdrawal bleed (imitation period).

After that, you start the new pack again before you can ovulate, and so you prevent ovulation for the new cycle. No egg, no chance of pregnancy.
