Why do girls get so crabby or mean or upset about there periods? O.o''!

Question: Why do girls get so crabby or mean or upset about there periods? O.o''?
Really? My sister is only 13 and started her period when she was 12. And she doesn't get cramps or headaches either when she has her period. Soo like really? Theres no reason to be crying about it right?Your just bleeding every girl has it!c'mon ! :o Like my sister got blood on her pants and she like siting there looking like she cryed telling me to leave the room because shes talking to her mom about it. If I did that in my pants and it was just a lil bit like hers was. I'd be so? Every girl has to happen and you know what? Its not like it happend in her bed? Or got in her hair. Now I could understand that but WTF! This is what I say to my self ''Do you have a diease ? NO! EVERY GIRL GETS IT MONTHLY so like WHO THE HELL CARES? I mean really? LIke reallY? Oh my god I'm so sick of my mom when ever my sisters get there periods she cares for them and acts like they have something serious going on. I mean I cold understand if they had the flu but they don't. Oh and I don't really type like this I'm in a hurry while typing because I'm gonna go to bed. ;)

How old are you?
If you're a girl, then before you start making judgment calls, wait until it happens to you! If you're a boy, you don't have a clue and probably never will!

Hormones play a significant role in the reason most girls cry and/or get irritable and cranky during their period. It's like feeling bloated, and/or cramping so severely you think you could die. Also, some of those cramps can actually be more painful than cramping when you have severe diarrhea. The next time you have a bad case of intestinal flu, know that it's nothing compared to having a period! Some periods are actually more painful than childbirth (I speak with experience on this one as well!)

Also, it's not fun cleaning up the blood. It may seem insignificant to you, but then, you're not the one dealing with it evidently. Just wait! If you're a girl, you too can be late to class because you've either run out of tampons or pads or you're stuck in the bathroom washing out your underwear, or cleaning up the mess. I have often wondered just how many total hours a girl spends over the course of her lifetime, in the restroom cleaning up after a messy period. I'm positive I've spent well over 2-3 weeks total in a bathroom just cleaning up and dealing with a period. It's gets old really fast.

And no matter what a small amount you may bleed, that doesn't necessarily reflect the amount of pain and tension and anxiety you may feel when you're on your period. So give the girls some slack, OK?

PS- you say 'so who the H=== Cares? Obviously you're one of those people who would never care about another human being, simply because an experience is not personally happening to you. If you don't experience something personally, it's not a problem. I understand your viewpoint, just know that at some point when you're in pain, perhaps nobody should care what happens to you either! It's a very dangerous and selfish position to take.

You also comment that "it's not a disease." however, you're wrong about that as well. There is an illness called PMS which basically stands for an actual sickness many girls have when they're on their periods. They can't help it, or they would. Nobody wants to feel this way.

Not having a headache or cramps still doesn't mean that a person is feeling fantastic on her period. Nobody knows how she feels except herself. Don't judge until you've walked a mile in her shoes!

Haha yeah I think girls do exaggerate about their periods a lot, I mean honestly after a while it's like get over it- it's not going away. Your mom will eventually get tired of it and it'll get old.. But hey why not ***** about yours xD show your sister how annoying it is. :3

My BFF Becky had cramps so bad, she committed suicide over her period.

Every year, thousands of teen girls commit suicide 'cus of their periods.

Mm, not big into compassion, now, are you?

Hopefully you'll grow up one day. Unfortunately, it appears from your rant that that day is a long way off.

NONSTOP blood coming out of a hole between your legs. Often the blood is very heavy, and its a hassle to change a tampon every few hours. Make it even better, some girls get excruciating cramps that could make them crawl into the fetal position, but we have to act like it's okay. Also, it messes with your hormones and makes us over-emotional and pretty much crazy. And it's EMBARRASSING to leak! Plus you're a boy. It's usually awkward for a guy to be there while talking about bloody vaginas, so yeah, I see why she'd ask you to leave.
Seriously, you don't get it. That's like me saying "why do guys make such a big deal out of getting kicked in the balls? i mean it happens to every guy, gosh." So shut up. And i'm the same age as your sister, around this age the period is irregular and can come randomly, what if you're wearing an expensive dress or pants and BAM blood. (blood is very hard to get out of clothes) Humiliating and frustrating.
Anyway, just shut up and have a little care.

Ok, im a girl and i understand why guys dont get it why girls are upset about their period.

first of all, cramps. Ohhh cramps are awful. It's a horrible pain in the stomach that comes when your period arrives. Sometimes it's not all that bad but other times it's realllyyy bad and can cause you to cry or even be sent to the hospital (my aunt had to when she was younger)

2nd of all, crankiness. You dont want to tease or bother a girl on her period. Usually, bad mood swings happen around this time. im not sure why but it comes.

lastly, its pretty uncomfortable walking around with a pad or whatever inside your pants. it can get you upset. plus the stomach problem is awful.

try to understand your sister, it can be a bad 5 days for her and she doesn't need the extra pressure of a brother who doesnt get it. so just be nicer to her when she does get her period :)
