What's happening to me? What is going on with my period?
I still have my period and it's been -today will be 11 days. My last period as I recall lasted 8 days. I haven't had any craps or anything, just blood. I'm 18 yrs old and I have no idea what to do. My period is irregular but it's never lasted this long.
It's my spring break and I feel like crap by going outside in the heat in San Diego while my period is lasting forever.
My mom is like don't worry about it. Just take advil. what the hell would that do?

Is it light or is it heavy?
If it's been consecutively light, then there could be something blocking the flow. Such as the hymen or something strange up there (piece of tissue or part of a tampon? gross to think about, but it's possibly)
If it's been on the heavier side, then you should really talk to a doctor about that. That's not neccesarily normal. You could be iron deprived or could have some sort of hormonal imbalance. Have you lost a lot of weight recently? That could be another reason why.
