Hey Hannah!
Yeah, I think so. Discharge is normally a sign of periods though. I'm assuming none of these signs have been hurting too much. If they do, you might want to get yourself checked out. Also, ask you mum if she got any of these signs before her period started and how old she was when they started because those sorts of things are often passed down from mother to daughter. You can learn a lot and get a lot of comfort from your mum!
Always keep some sanitary towels at school with you, either in your locker or bag- there is nothing more embarrassing than having your period at school and not being prepared! You may want to start bringing some supplies to school now as well because you may be starting soon by the sounds of it. I would suggest using santiary towels first because they're easier and more comfy. Tampons can hurt at first and I'd wait at least 6 months into starting your periods to use them. Remember, at first, your periods may be irregular: you may go a few months without one or you might just have two weeks between them- this is another reason why you should have good supplies of sanitary towels.
It's normal to get sore back, tummy and bad mood swings both during and before your period. If you start having to miss a lot of school, being sick, feeling faint, they're really heavy and if your period is badly interrupting your general life, you may want to go to the doctor. I started to have to miss a week of school every month at one time, I was being sick, I was fainting and it was really starting to affect my life. I had my period over Xmas one year which just completely ruined the fun and that made me decide to go to the doctor. She gave me some tablets to make them a lot less heavy and painful and now I can get on with my life! I'm not saying this will happen to you, I don't know anyone who has got this bad but I'm using this as an example of how if anything is really affecting your life and is painful, not just periods, please go to the doctor- they're so supportive and there's nearly always something they can do! It's their job remember!!
Don't be afraid to talk to your friends about periods, it makes everything a lot less scary and it means there's someone else who knows what your going through.
Hope this has been useful, good luck!
xoxo

You sound close, but it's hard to tell. You can never really predict your first period. But be prepared and ask your mom for some tampons or pads just in case. And I recommend tampons because it's feels like your not even on your period. But that's my opinion. :) Good luck sweetie!! :) :)

I started at the age of 10. And I had the same signs. Yes, your probably about to start.

it kind of depend on your mother ...ask her what age she got her... and did she have same symptom you have now
