Hmm...weird...Periods..?!

Question: Hmm...weird...Periods..?
Well, My periods are normal i guess, i get them every month...but last month i got my periods and my periods came out a tiny bit each time...and it was brown coloured/yellowy ....and now i got my periods and they are so heavy and im getting bad cramps....red/black coloured. Whats up with my period ...why does it sometimes come out a little and dull coloured and sometimes a lot, and bright red/dark red and black? And why do we get cramps? :(

Answers:

Every period is different, especially in your teens! The first few years of having your period will be very chaotic. One month it will last 3 days and be light, and the next month will be a week long and very heavy. But don't worry, they will definitely settle into a predictable cycle over time!

We get cramps because our uterus spasms and contracts to help push out the blood sitting against its walls. It hurts because the muscle is working so hard, just like when you do a lot of sit ups!

Hope I helped! :)

before you got your peroid you got brown/yellow stuff yeah? Thats normal its just your body cleaning its self before your next peroid, but sometimes yellow discharge is a sign of infection, and the black bits your having in your normal peroid are allso normal, its actually not black its just dark dark red, you may want to get the yellow discharge checked out if it happands again but other than that its perfectly normal

well first if you have had your period for over a year or two maybe you need birth control pills, if you haven't had ur period very long ..it takes time to get use to it i use to have irreagular periods all the time when i first started but anyway you really need to talk to a doctor if my answers did not help thank youu(:

good o'le brain ahaaa(:

I know how you feel ! They sometimes do that because well we are teens and they will be changing for the first few years . The reason we get thoose AWFUL cramps is because .. well we are pushing loads of blood out there kinda has to be a reaction i suppose. Bananas REALLY help(not for long term) But they stop the cramps for a few hours ! :D Good luck.

meeeeeeee
