Breast Reduction Aftermath?!

Question: Breast Reduction Aftermath?
I am a 16 year old girl who is having breast reductions in a little less then 3 month. I am a 32GG, which you can imagine is pretty painful considering im very petite and only 5 ft. My surgeon has given me some information about what to expect afterwards, but I would really like to hear from someone else who can maybe give me some more information. like will i be able to swim? or how long its gonna take to feel better, and just what to expect when i get home from the hospitial.

Answers:

I had this done many years ago and still think that surgeon is wonderful.
After the op I had no pain at all. I just couldn't lift anything heavy, even the kettle and the iron felt heavy. I also found driving tiring for a week or 2 because of holding your arms up on the steering wheel.
Swimming depends on the scars being healed. Your doc should advise on this. It may be a while before you feel like it though for the same reason that lifting anything heavy is difficult as you use the same muscles for swimming.
I hope your op goes well and you have as much fun buying new clothes, especially pretty bras, as I did.

It depends on how you heal as to how quick you are going to feel better. I went through the surgery at a german hospital which has different practices than american hospitals so I can only speak from my experience. I was in the hospital for 4 days and at the end I went home with no pain meds. I took tylenol a couple of times and after that I was fine.It was such a relief to feel the weight off my chest, it was worth every ache. You will be sore for a while nothing bad though. keep from stretching too much like lifting your arms up over your head. kind of thing so swimming may take a few weeks. follow your doctors orders and dont try to do too much too soon otherwise it will take longer to heal . good luck

You will be able to swim, but only in a few weeks. You will have to avoid all forms of exercise for a while because it has to heal. That also means no tasks such as vaccum cleaning. You also need to take good care of your scars if you want them to disappear over time. You should also avoid tanning as much as possible.

Why would you do that you dip shiat
