I have a question about my period?!

Question: I have a question about my period?
I'm fourteen years old, and I got my period for the first time in mid October. I've been getting it fairly regularly, it usually comes around the 17th and lasts for five days. The last time I got it was in February, and it came about normal time, but the flow was really light. It never came in March, and now it's April 6th and it still hasnt come. Is this normal? Because since I haven't had it very long, it could still be irregular. Please let me know, thanks!

Oh and there's no possibility at all I could be pregnant. Just throwin that out there. haha

Answers:

I'm fourteen, and this has happened to me a couple of times too. It's completely normal, probably just down to stress or random irregularities or something. Don't worry, you'll be fine! Good luck, dear! :-) xoxo

It's completely normal to be irregular for a year or more after your first period. There is no one reason why this happens, it just does. It *could* be that you are getting more exercise, it *could be that your hormones are irregular, it *could be any number of things. Or it *could be 'normal' for you to skip one every now and then.

As long as you know there is NO chance of pregnancy, don't worry about it.

It's normal at your age to miss a few and be irregular until you're a little older. If there's no possibility of being pregnant, you're okay. I didn't start to get normal periods until I was almost seventeen.

It could be stress. It could be your diet or exercise changes. Stress only causes it to be more late, so don't panic. It is very normal for it to be irregular your first few years.

at your age it is normal to skip around and be irregular
