Question: Question regarding vaginal mucus, please answer sensibly!?

I'm not sure what is wrong, I got like egg white mucus, it's stretchy and clear from vagina and it has no smell to it. I'm not pregnant nor am I trying to be. In addition i don't have periods, I'm due for them in 1.5weeks time. Also can someone explain sometimes I get mucus which sometimes is like water? I'm not sure what is going on. Ive been to doctor about this before and without any tests they said it's normal. I don't think it is though.

Yes its normal and, as long as there is no smell or itching/burning then you are fine. Women have natural discharges like this all of the time. It is a womans body's way of "cleansing" and any Gyno will tell you this as well as there not being a need for douches except maybe once a month after your period due to this discharge/cleansing process. There are different types of cervical discharge during your cycle. This site is ran by a mid-wife. The photos are of her cervix during her cycle.
