Question: I changed my pad 5 times today!!?
Okay, so I'm only 13 years old and I just started my period a few months ago. Ok, so I drink alot of coke and I eat meat and coke and I love eating MANGOES but due to my low metabolism, I don't gain weight that much so don't think that it's because of my weight. Anyways, I changed my pad 5 times today!! I woke up at 7:15, put on a fresh pad, changed my pad at school around 10:00 and there was a stain on my underwear! There was alot of blood on it! Then I changed it at lunch break at 12:30 and there was alot of blood, then when I came home at 2:30, I changed it AGAIN and then I changed it after dinner around 7:00 again!! It's starting to annoy me, I know I think I have heavy flows but is it normal to change your pad that many times?? This is the first day that this has happened to me, my lower back hurts and my upper legs hurt alot. And don't think that I change it when there's alittle bit, THERES ALOT. Ok, and I CANT go to the doctor, my mom is in England for a wedding and she's not coming back until May so I'm here with my Dad and don't ask me to ask a trusted women because most of them also went to the wedding in England...lol..please help, is this normal?? Sorry for the gross details, i'm just stressed out!!

For me, once I had my period for a while it started getting heavier. It's just your body. Don't worry too much about it.



hey ...first of all.. Plz relax... Because anxiety causes more stress on ur mind...second thing if the amount of bleeding is grossly more than previous cycles...u need to see a doctor... As u said it happens every time u need to take care of compensation for blood loss by taking high iron diet... If pain is too high take an analgesic...five pads is definitely much...so see d gynecologist as soon as possible...



Sometimes we have blood clots. It's nothing to freak out about.



First of all dump ur coke bottles and mangoes,these items generate lot od calories/heat ur body.Eat nutritious food like fruits(like oranges, melons, that keep u cool) vegetables,lots of milk , spinach(they contain iron essential for blood), lots of cereals, fish and eggs,avoid meat,if at all eat less of meat.Regarding loss of blood , the out go of blood varies from person to person, the out flow reduces in the end stages of menstruation that is on the 3rd day.IF u feel that the outgo of blood is high on all days, better cnsult a good gynaecologist and check if ur reproductive parts are weak .Buy urself a good iron tonic and start consuming as per instruction on the label, maintain utmost hygiene wash with a mild antiseptic liquid whenever u go to bath room. Dont feel that ur are alone and get afraid,even this can cause heavy menses, be cheerful after all of us are with u and god is with u So why fear?If u have pains use paracetamol 250 mg tablets twice a day after food.
