Yellow Vagnial Discharge? Help.?!

Question: Yellow Vagnial Discharge? Help.?
I had sex with my boyfriend for the first time on Sunday and and again on Wednesday. (today is Thursday) We have never been with anyone else besides eachother and we used a condom. Yesterday I went to the bathroom and I saw a decent amount of yellow discharge in my underwear. I don't understand what this means? Is my vagina just swollen because it was my first time? Someone answer, asap. I am very worried! Thank you

I agree with the girls that answered already except the one who thinks he gave you something. Most stds take more than a week to show up. If your young it could just be a hormonal change. It could be a bacterial infection. Plus after you have sex its extremely important that you urinate afterwards to prevent a bladder infection. Don't wait very long after intercourse to pee. Monitor your discharge if it becomes greenish or stinks see your gyn.

did this yellow discharge smell bad/ or look frothy? if it did you most likely have a bacterial infection they're naturally occurring and nothing to worry about BUT you MUST go the doctor for antibiotics. it it isn't stinky or frothy or cause discomfort then its most likely just natural hormonal fluctuations adding a slightly yellowish color to your discharge which is entirely normal and natural.

It could be bacterial vaginosis (not an STD). Should clear up with antibiotics. May otherwise just be discharge from ovulating, but best be safer than sorry. See a doctor. Also, sometimes condoms can fail, so it's always wise to have a second form of birth control. But very smart to use one- a great step in maturity!

Maybe *you've* never had sex with anyone else, but the yellow discharge says HE most definitely has.
