How do I get razor burn off my vagina?!

Question: How do I get razor burn off my vagina?
i started shaving it about 3 weeks ago... last time i shaved it (3 days ago) i shaved the opposite way it was growing and i got a very smooth and clean shave there. but last night when i went to shave it i tried shaving it the same way i did 3 days ago and it was very rough... i got cut in three places and the hair didnt even come off all the way. i just presumed shaving the same way it was growing to avoid anymore cuts. why did it hurt so much last night and not 3 days ago?!

Answers:

There's nothing you can do about it now except rub some aloe vera gel or lotion on the skin to alleviate any discomfort.
The next time you shave your bikini area, make sure you do it in moderately warm/hot water. Lather up on shaving cream or a product called Bikini Zone when shaving. Use small, light strokes and try not to constantly go over the same patches of skin, as that will cause irritation.
When I shave my bikini area, I always dap a cotton ball in some witch hazel (you can use facial toner or astringent) and go over the smooth skin to avoid nasty ingrown hair. Then I put some baby oil gel or aloe vera gel on the skin to keep it smooth and irritation-free.
I hope this helped!

I used to get that, for your bikini line, it's normally ok to shave to the opposite way your hair grows, but if it's being that bad it could be your razor, if the one your using is old it won't be cutting the hair but pulling them out, and if it's a disposable, those always give me a rash there. Hope this helps!

You need to use a sensitive skin gel or foam, and make sure you use enough. Also, make the strokes slow and evenly-pressed against your skin, stretch out the creases to make it flat.
For apres shave, there's a product called Tend Skin that takes care of that, available at most pharmacies.

i used to get that even if i shaved in the shower with shaving cream. now i discovered that if you pat dry the skin and put some neosporin on it, you wont get any bumps at all. so i think you should definately try it out!(:

It's called shaving gel or foam...I assume u dry shaved it. You can't get them off now. It needs time to heal...
