Why won't the tampon go in?!

Question: Why won't the tampon go in?
I've been asking a lot of questions, so sorry, but why won't it go in? Am I just like not able to use tampons?

Answers:

So I put in a tampon for the first time like 2 weeks ago, and I got it in, but it wouldn't come out! I had a pretty bad first time experience because I started using them too early. For you, your body might be saying wait a while like a couple months and try again

Read the instructions on the package, or package insert carefully, make sure you fully understand them.

Spread your thighs and open your vaginal lips with one hand. RELAX. Put some Vaseline or KY gel on the tampon applicator to help it slide in. Position the end of the tampon slightly inside your vaginal lips and push. The main thing is to relax and take your time.

Just relax and let it slide it.. If you are really tense well once i had this problem when i was first using them and i pretended it was my finger and closed my eyes and pushed it in..

You might try using a smaller absorbency one, like if you are trying to use super use regular and see if that works for you

it wont go in if youre tense trust me... you have to relax and stick it up there. try laying down or sittin up on the toilet. sometimes i have to put it in at an angle try that it also helps to use the ones that dont have cardboard applicators so i use the pearl ones they slide in easier

if you're following all the directions on the box and its still not going in, maybe you just cant use tampons hun, sorry.
