ok is it weird to get acne from 5-8th and get breats and hips but not get your p!

Question: Ok is it weird to get acne from 5-8th and get breats and hips but not get your period!?
so now my acne is 99% gone but for three years i had moderate acne, i mean it wasnt so bad it scarred but i did have quite a bit and it made me upset that my other friends didnt have it

but then i gained a more feminine figure my measurements are:
34 B
24
33

but i never have gotten my period. or cramps or anything i mean i have everything i need and im 14 but i never have gotten it. i think most of the girls in my grade have and theyre just getting acne and growing but i slowed down, i grow taller im already bout 5'4 but i havent grown in my chest size in over a year and my hips havent either.

but i mean my granda got her period at 12, her mom got hers at 11 my sister got hers around the same age. all my friends have it and i dont, but how is this possible if i have a developed figure?

Answers:

Do you mean 5th to 8th grade? Acne does not necessarily have anything to do with puberty, it can be caused by things like excessively oily skin, or not washing your face often enough, some people are just more prone to it. The reason acne is more common during puberty is because the hormonal changes you're going through cause your skin to produce more oil, but people at any stage of development can get it.

There's nothing wrong with not having your period at age 14, the HEALTHY age range is 10-15 (even though the most common age to get it is 12-13, for example, if there are 5 teenage girls, chances are three of them will get their period at age 12-13, one of them will be around 10-11, and the other will get it at 14-15, this isn't always the case but it gives a good example).

Most girls get their first period anytime from 18 months to 3 years after beginning to develop breast, and anytime from 6 months to 2 years after starting to have clear/white vaginal discharge. Just be patient, everyone develops differently. As for the developed figure, some girls have get their period a year into puberty when they only have breast buds, others get it 3-4 years in and are wearing C cups, there's no "set" way you're supposed to look.

It's not recommended that a girl sees a doctor until she's 16 and hasn't gotten her period, so just relax and don't worry about it =]

It happens sometimes. It will come. But if it doesn't by the time your 18 then you probibly have a hormonal imbalance and you would need to see a doctor. Good luck:)

It varies from person to person. Don't worry. You'll get it. And hate it.
